| Once highly respected viking hero named Thors, and the Jomsviking's cheiftan's daughter, Helga. The two had tired of violence and wanted to raise their daughter in peace, so they ran. Thorfinn was born into this family years later at the end of the world, Iceland. Thorfinn grew as any norse boy did, on saga's and the love of his family. The difference was, he was never told of his families life before Iceland, and he often sat at the feet of the great Leif Erikson as a boy hearing tales of a land called Vinland. That was until his world was shattered. At six years old he stowed away on his father's ship to go with him to war... only for the ship to be ambushed. Thors gave his life to save his son's, the event destoyed the boy, giving way to a monster that chased his father's murderer into battle. For the next eleven years he followed Askeladd. He learned from the man as much as he hated it he grew under the man's gaze and fought to earn duels to kill him. Often engaging in suicide missions for this. What he didn't expect was to come to care for the man. When Askeladd was murdered before his eyes his whole world shattered, the man he had been told to protect had killed the man his life had revolved around killing. With no purpse left he shut down and cut the new found king's face. Waking in a strange new world with no real will to do anything he had to start walking a path, he didn't know who he would be at the end, but he knew this time he would make the choices himself.
